Am I a “fashionista?” I don’t think so. However, I like to feel good. I believe in wearing what helps me invoke the feelings I need to face whatever I’d like to face every day. Plus-size fashion, makeup, wigs, shoes, and accessories help me curate the confidence to assert my humanity in the face of fat bias, racism, colorism, classism, and misogyny.
